Reproduction of documents in the reserve room

The reproduction of documents to be consulted in the Reserve Room
is subject to the condition of the documents and the number of pages to reproduce.

If you request to reproduce pieces that are not in good condition or your request is over 20 pages,
your request will be sent to the Unit of Digitization, where the documents will be reproduced through the system that suits better.

In this case, the entire document will be reproduced, in this way, other users will find an alternative format of it, thus ensuring the preservation of the original.

You can get an scanner copy if the document do not have any of these anomalies:

  • Documents on paper with physical damage, such as rips, tears, folds ... whether printed, handwritten or engraving
  • Documents on fragile paper because of acidity, ie, paper yellowed, brittle, dry ... whether printed, handwritten or engraving
  • Documents on paper with written and/or drawn in pencil or ink very weak
  • Documents on parchment with tears, forced shapes or dry
  • Documents with a binding that can be damaged when you open it
  • Documents in large format exceeding A3 size

You can request up to 20 pages now. If you need more pages you can make a request.
