Format MARC 21 per a dades bibliogràfiques: Apèndix B: Exemples de registres de nivell complet (Servei de Normalització Bibliogràfica, Biblioteca de Catalunya)

Els exemples d'aquest apèndix reflecteixen l'aplicació dels designadors de contingut MARC en registres de nivell complet. Tot i que les dades s'han obtingut de registres bibliogràfics reals, aquests registres s'inclouen només amb finalitat il·lustrativa i no són utilitzables amb finalitats bibliogràfiques.

El creador de les dades bibliogràfiques no s'especifica en aquests registres d'exemple. El camp 008/39 conté el codi d (Altres fonts) i el camp 040, subcamps $a i $c conté la frase <codi d'organització> en lloc d'un codi MARC vàlid. A més a més, el camp 001 (Número de control del registre) i el camp 003 (Identificador del número de registre) contenen les frases <número de control> i <identificador de número de control> respectivament, indicant que el registre és només un exemple. Les parts de la Capçalera (CAP) generades pel sistema es representen per asteriscs (*). També manca als registres el Directori generat pel sistema. Les posicions del camp 008 han estat segmentades per facilitar-ne la lectura. Tot i que la segmentació exacta varia, els dos primers segments contenen sempre les posicions 00-05 i 06-14. L'últim segment conté sempre les posicions 35-39.
