The organization of the Biblioteca de Catalunya is regulated by the Law 4/1993, of March 18, of the Library System of Catalonia, and modified by the Law 7/2004, of July 16, on administrative and fiscal measures, and the Decree 300/1995, of October 25, on the structure of the Biblioteca de Catalunya.
